Hi, I have a set of jpegs named 00000.jpg to 00099.jpg and all 1920 x
1080 in size. If I flick forwards through these files using Windows
Photo Viewer I see a smooth camera motion from frame to frame.

However if I use FFmpeg and image2 to generate a x264 1080p movie, then
the motion is no longer smooth. In fact the more motion there is the
jerkier FFmpeg makes it. Here is the movie:

Note that this is nothing to do with You Tube - what you see on there is
identical to the .mp4 file on my hard drive.

I've created a lot of movies using the same version of FFmpeg and the
same command line without problems before. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Thanks, Andy

Are you sure the photos are in sequence? When you use Windows Photo Viewer and
see smooth motion, are the numbers in order?
